Galaxy Airlines Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Sagawa Express Co. Ltd, one of the largest cargo business companies in Japan, took delivery of the first Airbus A300-600F freighter today in Toulouse, France.

Grandstar Cargo Int'l Airlines Started Operation - Zibb.com

Grandstar Cargo International Airlines Co., Ltd. a Tianjin-based Sino-South Korean joint venture, launched a flight carried by Boeing 747-400 all-cargo freighter from Tianjin to Frankfort on June 30, 2008, marking its commencement of business.
The venture, which was formed by Sinotrans Air Transportation Development Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600270), a subsidiary of Sinotrans Limited (SEHK: 0598), Korean Air, Hana Capital and Shinhan Capital in December 2007, has total investment of USD 195 million with registered capital of USD 65 million. It is specialized in domestic and international air cargo and mail transportation, aircraft leasing, flight chartering, maintenance of its own aircrafts, agency for airlines, export and import services and related ground services.
The venture, which operates regular and irregular international cargo transport services, has set up offices in Europe and Shanghai and will expand branches to other main cities of the world. Apart from B747-400F, the company plans to introduce another such freighter and two Airbus A300-600F aircrafts this year and open more routes to the US and other cities.
