The first official DEFRA estimates of the 2008 cereal harvest show that the UK produced a bumper wheat harvest of 17.5m tonnes, an increase of 32% on 2007
Crop Yield Estimates 2005 - 06 December 2005 | Department of Agriculture and Rural Development
Yield and production estimates for the main cereal crops and potatoes for the year 2005 were issued today. The estimates for cereal yields were taken from a post-harvest survey of 227 growers. Potato estimates were also taken from a survey of over 180 farms from pre-harvest digs.
