Live cattle closed lower on the day. Today’s weakness is a direct result of the lower cash prices throughout the country. Cattle in TX and KS traded $1 lower than a week ago and cattle in NE traded $1-2 lower. This news pushed December futures just below $83 before a small recovery occurred.
