Forum | www.lawncafe.com | Apr 9, 2009
Going to start shopping for a minibackhoe for small jobs. Something for digging, minimal grading and spreading soil and stone. Any feedback on the Kubota BX24 would be appreciated.

LocalHarvest - Forum
Hi Everyone, I'd like to know how much acre of pasture land would be needed for x number of cattle/cows. PA/NY/NY region. Or.. if you have 5 acre what is the maximum number of cows allowed to have enough food for all them...grass feeding etc. Just trying to learn and find out things.

This is meant to be an intro for those of you who are just picking up an arc welder for the first time. A bit of patience and practice and you ll find this to be an invaluable tool on your farm. I should probably do an article on safety first but I know you ll be keen to jump straight into it.
Re: broilers
Update, everyone! I was at an agricultural fair yesterday, and I saw SEVEN tumbler deep fryers ALL in operation. They were the most heavy duty fryers I've ever seen. One of them was tumble-frying six lambs in it.

British Farming Forum - Print Page
Hello, I'm thinking of building a stand off pad - you know, with woodchips and all? Anyway, I'm thinking of covering at least half of mine. Some people think that if it's covered then it mightn't work properly as they say that the rain is needed to wash the dung into the woodchips.
