Dr Sadequr Rahman: improving the health benefits of rice (Resume)
His research is mainly focused on altering the digestibility of starch in rice, which could have significant implications for the health and well-being of rice consumers. He is also involved in the alteration of the lipid complement of rice bran.
Dr Steve Milroy: improving crop production (Resume)
a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Western Australia, Perth, Western Australia.
Dr Philip Larkin: improving wheat (Resume)

Dr Rudy Dolferus: researching abiotic stress responses (Resume)
Physiological and molecular studies have shown that during stress conditions the plant restricts sugar supply for reproductive development, leading to abortion of pollen production.
Dr Fernanda Dreccer: adapting wheat (Resume)
Dr Dreccer is also interested in understanding salt tolerance of cereals and the application of non-invasive techniques for mass-screening of germplasm.
Dr Evans Lagudah: molecular genetics and breeding to improve cereals (Resume)
Dr Evans Lagudah’s research activities are based on the integration of molecular genetics and conventional breeding of biotic and abiotic stresses, and grain quality attributes for cereal improvement.
