Very good and a reasonable price. Plenty of colour pictures and good advice on keeping ornamental ducks. An excellent compatibility chart for ducks and geese. A small but very useful book.

Very informative book - which basically says "find someone who knows about sheep and take them with you" and then lists all the things that can go wrong! I like it, although it made me change my mind about getting two sheep!

An excellent boook! Covers all aspects, still easy to understand - even for a beginner. Composed and written in a way that could be an example for authors of similar books on other species

As a complete beginner looking after Turkeys (or any bird for that matter)it helped out a great deal and I have at last managed to sex them. Only one point that would have been good to know and that is what food is best for them and how much to give them.

My family and I enjoyed looking at all the lovely photos of the breed-types, and found it very helpful with the information about each bird. On the strengh of reading this book, we decided on buying Light Sussex and Buff orpingtons, and they are all wonderful birds.

Bantams in Colour is an ideal book for someone who has just started the fascinating hobby of keeping a few bantams. The colour plates give an excellent insight into the many breeds and their colour variations.

The book was useful. The one issue I had with it is that it does not deal with truly free-range chicken raising. We have a great deal of land and do not cage our chickens at all. Some learnings from others on this experience would be useful.
