Techrescue.net - Computer gone weird

My computer has decided to start re-booting itself for no apparent reason. It's been doing this on and off for a little while now. I haven't been able to find any cause for it. Last night it REALLY threw a wobbly. It re-booted itself, and when it came back on there was no text!

Hi. After first installing AISBackup, whenever I tried to run it my machine would hang during setup. AISBackup displayed message: "AISBackup: Please Wait. Testing: DISC Interface. Settingup AIS Backup." The hang is particularly bad - even CNTL+ALT+DEL does not work.

Well here's some advice to all 3 of them. If the Intel Corporation keeps up it's on-slought of CPU technology that looks as if it's on it's way to protect not only the system that it's installed on, but even the those systems that connects with it. Symantec and McAfee both my end up down grading.

I have a WIN98 computer with a 1.5ghz Pentium 4 processor and 128mb of RAM. On this computer I have been running McAfee Firewall and Anti-virus programs from 1996 or so, along with Webroot's Spysweeper, Winpatrol, and Popupstopper programs to prevent and detect viruses, spyware, popup windows, etc.
