Hi Cody! I've got a little spare time right now! Try disabling firewalls/popup blockers/antiviruses before downloading. Sometimes when I download, my antivirus takes a while to scan for threats so it takes forever. But you have an older computer right?

Hi Tony, You should be able to delete the install folder without any trouble although to be on the safe side you could rename it and / or move it to a different directory for a while.

EmEditor text editor - Forums

Emeditor Showing Up As Trojan with Prevex AntiVirus Software. What to do? It keeps removing it. I'd sure like to have Emeditor back as its functions are like no other. But Prevex does remote monitoring of computers and has removed it. What can I do?

Assuming that you have an anti-virus that checks your outgoing messages, then it is unlikely that there was a virus attached to the secured message you sent.

Vista sucks. Mine crashed on me last weekend, so had to reload. Luckily have a backup external drive so most of my stuff was saved, but since I have dialup, it s going to take forever to re-download some the of the programs I had. AVG Free is a good anti-virus download.
