Previously, he was Vice President, Business Development for NetMotion Wireless, a provider of mobile productivity software, where he accelerated revenue generation by establishing relationships with strategic partners.

Earlier in his career, he was Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing for NSGDatacom, a developer of wireline and wireless voice and data products. While there, Dobson created solution selling and marketing programs for key verticals and applications. He joined NSGDatacom when it purchased Advanced Switching Communications, where he had been Vice President, Worldwide Sales.

Dobson also spent 3 years with 3Com in the 1990s in senior sales positions at the company s former USRobotics unit.
