For the first nine months ended September 30, 2009, net income was $117 million, or $2.58 per diluted share, compared to $85 million, or $1.90 per diluted share, for the corresponding period of 2008. Net sales for the first nine months of 2009 were $2.59 billion, compared to $2.77 billion for the same period of 2008.
