REMINDER: COGECO Inc. and Cogeco Cable Inc. Schedule Release of Financial Results for the Fiscal

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Oct 29, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) --

COGECO Inc.(TSX:CGO) and Cogeco Cable Inc.(TSX:CCA) plan to release their financial results for the 2009 fiscal year ended August 31, 2009, on Friday October 30, 2009 before market hours. COGECO and Cogeco Cable's annual reports will be available on SEDAR and a short press release summarizing fiscal 2009 highlights will be issued for each company.

The companies will hold a conference call Friday October 30 at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) to discuss their financial and operating results.

Cogeco Cable Increases Quarterly Dividend to $0,14 per Share - Zibb.com

MONTREAL, CANADA, Oct 29, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --

Cogeco Cable Inc. (TSX: CCA) ("Cogeco Cable" or "the Corporation") announced today that its Board of Directors of has declared a quarterly eligible dividend of $0.14 per share for subordinate and multiple voting shares, representing an increase of $0.02, or 17%, when compared to the quarterly dividend of $0.12 per share declared for each quarter of fiscal 2009. The dividend will be payable on November 26, 2009, to shareholders of record on November 12, 2009.

The declaration, amount and date of any future dividend will continue to be considered and approved by the Board of Directors of the Corporation based upon the Corporation's financial condition, results of operations, capital requirements and such other factors as the Board of Directors, at its sole discretion, deems relevant. There is therefore no assurance that dividends will be declared, and if declared, the amount and frequency may vary.

I have been with Cogeco for a long time in my area but in the last year, they've gone from unlimited to crappy bandwidth caps. For where I live my cap is 100GB and that's nowhere near enough with the size of content like videos, media and games on the web increasing (i.e. videos 100's of megabytes).
