Illinois Tool Works, Inc. (ITW), a diversified manufacturer of engineered products and specialty systems, has acquired the assets of Hartness International, Inc., a manufacturer of packaging equipment and conveyors for bottling and material handling industry. Both the companies are based in the US.
Pursuant to the transaction, Hartness will become a wholly-owned business unit of ITW and part of its consumer packaging group.
