JetBlue passenger traffic up in June - Zibb.com

JetBlue Airways has reported that its passenger traffic measured in revenue passenger miles increased 2.3% in June 2008 to 2.3 billion, compared to 2.25 billion in June 2007.

The capacity measured in available seat miles increased 3.2% to 2.77 billion, from 2.69 billion in June 2007. Load factor for June 2008 was 83.1%, a decrease of 0.7 points from 83.8% in June 2007.

JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 97.8% and its on-time performance was 65%. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of June 2008 increased 14% year-over-year.

JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq:JBLU) reported today that its traffic in June increased 2.3 percent from June 2007, on a capacity increase of 3.2 percent.
