Russian operator Synterra concluded an agreement on co-operation with Korea Telecom, reports Rosinvest.com. The operators will co-operate on developing Wimax services and innovative services at data centres. Synterra has also signed a cooperation agreement with Mongolian fixed operator Gemnet. The operators will upgrade a 20 Gbps cross-border fibre link between Russia and Mongolia in the first stage of cooperation. The companies plan a mutual exchange of communications services in the future.
