Toronto, August 8, 2008. MACCs Sustainable Yield Trust (the "Trust") announces that as stated in the Material Change Report filed on June 6, 2008, the following changes have been made and are effective as of August 1, 2008:

1. The Trust has terminated the Investment Management Agreement with YMG
Fierra and has appointed Crown Hill Asset Management Inc. as the new
investment manager.
2. The Trust has terminated the Custody and Fund Valuation Services
Agreement with RBC Dexia and entered an agreement with CIBC Mellon as
a replacement.
