Judges selected one recipient out of the three finalists in each of the 14 Tekne Award categories, recognizing the best and brightest in development, education, commercialization and management of technology. The new online training offers several key benefits over other training formats, including 24/7 access to self-directed coursework. Interactive features in the XATANET online-training modules make the website a more involved learning experience for users, and company fleet managers can customize the level of passing scores for all online testing. While the initial courses will be for driver and Checkpoint trip-editing application training, new courses will be added on a regular basis to ensure that drivers and dispatchers receive consistent training at a minimal cost.

Demonstrations of the training tool will begin the week of August 24. The new system is expected to be available to all XATA customers in September.
