Cemex continues to downsize

Cement company Cemex, which also operates in Ireland, is continuing to downsize with news that the company has ceased manufacturing at its Barrington plant in Cambridgeshire. Up to 87 workers face redundancy after the company told workers today that production at the plant would cease immediately.
