Somalia: Ethiopian troops "capture" Al-Shabab fighters in Mogadishu

The advisor to the Ethiopian prime minister, Solmon [as received] in a press release, said Ethiopian forces captured [Somalia's] Al-Shabab fighters during the recent fighting in Mogadishu. He stated that they had handed them over to the Somali government.
The advisor said the Ethiopian troops dislodged Al-Shabab from its strongholds in parts of Mogadishu. He denied reports that Ethiopian troops massacred Muslim clerics at Al-Hidaya Mosque in Mogadishu.
The advisor added that the Ethiopian troops would continue operating in Somalia until Amisom [African Union Mission in Somalia] troops were fully deployed in the country.
