Directed Electronics to change name to DEI Holdings Inc.

Directed Electronics Inc. said Monday that its
shareholders have approved a change of the company's name to DEI Holdings Inc.
The Vista, Calif., home theater loudspeakers manufacturer said the change is
part of an effort to more closely align the company's corporate structure with
its daily operations.
Directed Electronics shares closed Friday at $1.55.
