Fly540 Adds Third Flight to Entebbe-Nairobi Route

FLY540, a new carrier in the region, has introduced another flight on the Entebbe-Nairobi route. The new flight schedule was effected on July 1.
The airline already operates two daily services on the route, using a modern 48-seater turbo prop ATR 42-320 aircraft.Under the schedule, flights from Entebbe International Airport depart from at 8.45 am and arrive at the Jomo Kenya International Airport at 10.05 am, the carrier announced in a statement.
"Passengers who prefer evening travel will leave Entebbe at 6.50 pm and arrive in Nairobi at 8.10pm, while those leaving Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 6.45am will arrive at Entebbe Airport at 8.05am," the statement elaborated.
It added the afternoon flight will depart Nairobi at 5.00pm and arrive in Entebbe at 6.20pm.
The airline has appointed Vivian Omollo the sales and marketing manager for Uganda.
"Her main responsibility is to oversee the sales and marketing of Fly540 in Uganda. She will also coordinate business between the airline and travel agents and manage the day to day bookings of passengers."
"Simply and our aim is to make travel as easy and as pleasant as possible," Omollo said. Fly540 introduced low cost travel in Kenya in November 2006.
