Fuel Treatment Company Environmental Energy Services to Present at CleanTech Conference May 13 in New York
NEWTOWN, Conn., May 08, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Company: Environmental Energy Services Inc. (EESV)
Environmental Energy Services, Inc. (EES) a leading provider of fuel treatment programs for utility companies operating oil and coal-fired boilers worldwide is one of 50 of the fastest growing public and private clean energy technology companies presenting at the 4th Annual Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. CleanTech Conference on May 13, 2008.
The event will be held at Le Parker Meridien in New York City, 118 W. 57th Street.
Mark Pastore, EES vice president technical development will represent EES (www.eescorp.com) on a panel discussion focused on cleaner coal technologies.
One on one meetings will be available with EES.
Last month, EES announced that it expected that current tests on a 500 MW coal-fired boiler burning bituminous coal will confirm previously collected data showing that a cost effective technology being marketed by EES is capable of eliminating hazardous mercury emissions from coal fired furnace plants. EES expects to become the first company to deploy the technology on a commercial scale.
EES is currently engaged in a multi-year contract with Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) to manage the fuel treatment process for the entire boiler fleet at FPL's oil-fired power plants in the state of Florida. That contract award followed a review and subsequent consolidation of combustion engineering companies that handled fuel treatment at FPL properties.
