Zeacom Showcases Communications Solutions at ITEXPO West 2008

Zeacom, a provider of Unified Communications (UC) solutions for the small-to-medium sized business market, showcased its Executive Mobile module at the ITEXPO West 2008 in Los Angeles.

An integral component of the company's Zeacom Communications Center (ZCC) 5.1, which is used by more than 2,500 enterprises worldwide, Executive Mobile enables end-users with UC functionality on their smart phone or other handheld device.

Zeacom President, Ernie Wallerstein, believes that executives in today's hyper-competitive global marketplace must have access to this critical functionality.

"Your desk phone is the first place where most callers try to reach you. But how often are you actually there," he queried. "The 21st century executive is a mobile executive, who must not only be accessible 24/7 - regardless of location - but is also someone who must be able to utilize desktop enterprise communications software while on the road. Executive Mobile addresses these needs, and brings all communications together in a single, convenient user environment."

The ZCC Executive Mobile functionality enables executives to use their mobile phones, or a Web portal, to remotely access their ZCC Desktop and other applications.

Sourced from one single application, Zeacom Communications Center 5.0 provides Presence, Messaging, Contact Center, Blended Out-dialing, IVR, Operator Console, Mobility, Conferencing, Microsoft Calendar and Outlook integration on one server and using a single administration interface, the company noted in a release.
