Aeroflot to purchase five A321 aircraft

Russian airline Aeroflot and Airbus have jointly signed a treaty on the purchase of five A321s with CFM-56 engines, which will be delivered between August 2013 and December 2013.
Aeroflot's fleet currently consists of 38 A320 family aircraft, of which 11 are A319s, 17 are A320 and 10 are A321. All aircraft are configured for business class as well as economy class, the A319 featuring 116 seats, the A320 140 seats and the A321 170 seats.
