Ford Motor Co. Tuesday named Stephen Odell
president and chief executive officer of its Volvo Car Corp. unit, effective
Oct. 1.
Odell is currently Ford's chief operating officer. He succeeds Fredrik Arp,
who is leaving the company.
Shares of Ford closed Friday at $4.46.
