Gezhouba Group to Create Subsidiary in Thailand

China's hydropower development giant Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600068) decides to set up a subsidiary in Thailand with three natural persons, including Zhu Dongru, the general manger of the Southeast Asia Branch of Gezhouba International that is a 100%-owned subsidiary of Gezhouba Group.
The new company, named Gezhouba (Thailand) Co., Ltd., will register THB 3 million in capital, or CNY 615,900. Gezhouba Group will invest THB 1.44 million, taking a 48% stake, and Zhu Dongru will invest THB 30,000, taking 1% stake.
The registration address of Gezhouba Thailand is the capital of the Southeast Asian country, Bangkok and its business range covers water conservation and hydropower development, power generation, port, highway, airport, railway, urban rail traffic, house and buildings, bridges, and other services.
According to its announcement on September 10, the board of Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. has approved this proposal. Notably, another wholly-owned subsidiary of the group plans to create a wind power generation equipment company in the Inner Mongolia.
