"We are thrilled that Omada has won a Microsoft Partner worldwide award," said Morten Boel Sigurdsson, CEO of Omada. "We are dedicated to continue raising the bar in bringing exceptional innovation to our product and value to our customers based on Microsoft technologies."

Awards were presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 2,000 entrants worldwide. Omada was recognized for superior technology and innovation in Security Solutions, Identity and Secure Access. The Security Solutions, Identity and Secure Access Partner of the Year award honors partners that have practices with proven proficiency in implementing solutions based on the Microsoft Identity and Access (IDA) technologies (Windows Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager, Active Directory Rights Management Services, Active Directory Federation Services, Active Directory Certificate Services). This award also recognizes partners with innovative solutions that help enterprises optimize their identities and their access to resources in a heterogeneous environment or solutions that provide value-added security and compliance capabilities.

"Omada is a leading Microsoft partner in role-based access control and compliance in the Identity Management space. This has been a great year for Omada!," said Pierre Liautaud, Microsoft International Vice President. "Since winning the ISV of the Year Award in Denmark in 2007, Omada has continued to gain strong market momentum together with Microsoft, and they have successfully managed to capture many new customers, including SUVA, Bayer, BMW, RWE, and recently Vattenfall. Omada's strategy is well aligned with the Microsoft strategy, with a strong focus on bringing its customers added value and quality service. Omada's value-adding technology and services are highly appreciated by the market. Recently the analyst group Kuppinger Cole + Partner called out Omada's achievements in the field of MIIS/ILM."
