MasTec Raises Guidance; Earnings Remain Inline with Estimates

MasTec Inc. (NYSE: MTZ) said it now expects 2008 earnings of $0.92 to $0.95 per share on revenue of $1.375 billion to $1.395 billion. The company's previous guidance was earnings of $0.88 to $0.92 per share on revenue of $1.21 billion to $1.23 billion and the current consensus earnings estimate is $0.92 per share on revenue of $1.22 billion for the year ending December 31, 2008. The company also said it expects 2009 earnings of $1.05 to $1.15 per share on revenue of $1.95 billion to $2.00 billion, including its recent acquisitions. The current consensus earnings estimate is $1.08 per share on revenue of $1.34 billion for the year ending December 31, 2009.
