Amex appoints Manoj Adlakha as Vice-President

Global credit card and payment services provider American Express today appointed Manoj Adlakha as Vice-President and head of the global commercial card business of India.

In this capacity, Adlakha will drive the growth of commercial card business in India as well as the retention and increased acquisition of corporate accounts, Amex said in a statement.

Prior to this, he was regional head Visa International in Singapore.

Manoj in his earlier stint of over 15 years with American Express in India has held posts including that of a CFO and Vice-President - Retail Financial Services and Consumer Cards, the statement added.

He was actively involved in developing the payments strategy for AXP in India, it added.
