At the 2009 HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition, InfoLogix, Inc., a technology provider of enterprise mobility solutions for the healthcare and commercial industries, announced a strategic partnership with TeleHealth Services, a supplier of patient and staff education-on-demand, to enable U.S. hospitals to acquire and implement the latest mobile healthcare infrastructure with minimal impact to their capital expenditures.
Under the "Mobile Workstations On-Demand" program, TeleHealth Services will provide InfoLogix with a variety of low-cost financing solutions for hospitals to acquire multiple configurations of InfoLogix's most popular workstations, and InfoLogix will provide hospitals with the option to implement TeleHealth's TIGR video-on-demand capabilities on workstations. The program enables hospitals to rent carts for as little as $150 per month for 36 months plus maintenance.
In addition to providing access to the latest technology, the program provides hospitals with better control over their current and future needs, with multiple configurations of InfoLogix's two most popular workstations to choose from, as well as flexible options at the end of the rental term to renew the agreement, purchase the carts, or take advantage of InfoLogix's recycling program.
"Even in challenging economic times, patient care needs do not diminish," says Rick Hodge, Executive Vice President of Healthcare at InfoLogix. "Hospitals still have some of the greatest mobile technology needs, and are looking for a cost-effective way to implement systems today that works for their budget. With the Mobile Workstations On-Demand Program, instead of tapping their capital expenditures budget, hospitals can simply pay a monthly fee to use the latest mobile workstation technology. This goes a long way in making the latest mobile technology accessible to every hospital in the U.S., and adding access to TeleHealth's powerful and popular TIGR program on the workstations provides an often-requested feature in mobility solutions."
"With a national team of mobile technology and EMR services experts, including RNs, pharmacists and clinicians, InfoLogix is a natural partner in TeleHealth's efforts to help healthcare organizations improve the quality of patient care, control operating expenses, and maximize workflow to take full advantage of the latest technological advancements," says Dan Nathan, General Manager of TeleHealth Services. "InfoLogix's healthcare technology expertise, combined with TeleHealth's decades of experience providing state-of-the-art communications systems and flexible financing options for the healthcare and hospitality industries, will make for a powerful and effective partnership in helping to provide the nearly 6,000 hospitals across the country with on-demand access to the infrastructure they need to operate at maximum efficiency, today."
The national launch of the InfoLogix Mobile Workstations On-Demand Program is taking place at HIMSS 2009 at McCormick Place in Chicago, April 4-8. HIMSS is one of the largest global Healthcare IT conferences, attracting more than 25,000 healthcare professionals annually.
