Monotype Imaging Adds 100 Fonts

Monotype Imaging Holdings has added more than 100 fonts to its Monotype, Linotype and ITC typeface collections.

Monotype said the fonts can be previewed and licensed from the company's e-commerce sites: Fonts.com, Linotype.com, ITCFonts.com and Faces.co.uk.

"We place a high priority on continually enhancing our typeface selections with fresh new designs. Creative professionals can also count on our collections for timeless classics that never go out of style," said Allan Haley, director of words and letters at Monotype Imaging. "Our latest releases span a wide range of inspiration, from new designs that reflect the past to selections that convey their own attitude, including a font that's not only grumpy but also bucks the idea that legibility is all that necessary."

Monotype Imaging is a provider of text imaging solutions for manufacturers and developers of consumer electronics devices including laser printers, copiers, mobile phones, digital televisions, set-top boxes, navigation devices, digital cameras and software applications and operating systems. The company also provides printer drivers and color imaging technologies to OEMs (original equipment manufacturers). Monotype Imaging technologies are combined with access to more than 10,000 typefaces from the Monotype, Linotype and ITC typeface libraries.
