Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) will launch a test version of its latest Exchange Server, a product used by about 65% of businesses around the world to run their e-mail systems. Exchange Server 2010 can be run completely online, saving money on hardware, and includes new features like the ability to "mute" specific streams of e-mail, opt out of certain conversations, transcribe voice messages sent to the computer and alert users before they send mail to large distribution groups or people outside of an organization. The official Exchange Server release is scheduled for the latter half of 2009 and Microsoft Office 2010 is expected for release in the first half of 2010.
