MediaG3 Promotes Anzalone To COO, Plans Sale Of 2 Units

April 15, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- MediaG3, Inc. (OTCBB: MDGC) has promoted Joseph L. Anzalone, its senior vice president of operations, to president and COO. Anzalone has also been elected to the company's board. The move comes has the company launches an effort to sell its Oriental Media Inc. and Little Sheep Children's Products Development, Ltd. units.
Oriental Media provides online content delivery, while Little Sheep Children's Products Development, Ltd., produces and markets for children's clothing. The company has set May 10 as the deadline for receiving an offer.
MidiaG3 said that the disposition of the two subsidiaries will allow it to focus on its core broadband wireless business and put more emphasis in China and the U.S. market, while continuing to move forward with a Philippines joint venture project.
As COO, Anzalone will expand his responsibilities to include business development, mergers and acquisitions and fund raising.
Anzalone is a finance and technology executive who previously co-founded and served as president of Ohana Wireless, a development stage company specializing in fixed wireless technology and equipment. Before that he served SVP at Silicon Valley Bank.
Santa Clara, California-based MediaG3 develops and markets broadband wireless technology products and online applications used by fixed and mobile consumers. The company has office in Shenzhen, China.
