Alentus Buys Route Sense

April 16, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- Alentus Corp. (OTC: ALNS) (Current Market Cap: US$13.71 Mil.) a provider of computer hosting services, has completed its acquisition of Route Sense Corp. in an all-stock transaction.
Chicago, Illinois-based Route Sense provides datacenter, bandwidth and wide area networking services.
Alentus said that the acquisition is complete and that the acquired company's operations are being incorporated to the Alentus management structure.
The company said that Route Sense has built an IT infrastructure business since January of 2008, focusing on services that facilitate growth of web hosting, ecommerce, and enterprise connectivity.
Route Sense also offers regional metro ethernet products for small and mid-sized businesses, and is engaged in the managed wide area networking market.
Alentus said it will see immediate benefits from the acquisition in the procurement of bandwidth and datacenter space.
Aliso Viejo, California-based Alentus has data center and NOC facilities in Edmonton, Canada, Columbus, Ohio, Austin, Texas and in London, United Kingdom.
The company provides Windows hosting, Linux hosting, SharePoint hosting, SQL and mySQL hosting, Exchange Hosting, Virtual Private Servers, and dedicated server services.
