Advanced early warning aircraft in jeopardy

The Australian Government's purchase of advanced early warning aircraft is threatened. The Defence Materiel Organisation told a parliamentary committee that the project was behind schedule and there were concerns about the aircraft's radar performance. It has informed Boeing and Northrop Grumman that the $A3.45 billion purchase could be cancelled.
