Northrop Grumman and PBS KIDS GO! Series Cyberchase Present Cyberchase Weather Watchers Event At the California Science Center April 25

Featuring appearances by characters from the popular PBS KIDS GO! animated series Cyberchase, Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) presents a Cyberchase Weather Watchers event Saturday, April 25 at the California Science Center. The event will engage students in math and science and show them how much fun they can have by observing the weather and its impact on the environment.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., families will have the opportunity to meet Cyberchase characters Bianca and Digit for half-hour increments at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Attendees will also be able to view screenings of new weather-related Cyberchase episodes at 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.

Children will also be able to participate in such hands-on activities as "The X-Factor," which demonstrates the multiplier effect of water conservation. The event will also include ongoing activities where visitors will learn how to "Step Into Cyberspace" and "Build A Better Bunny Copter."

The event is part of Northrop Grumman's support for programs that inspire and prepare the next generation of scientists, engineers and technicians for careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Cyberchase's Weather Watchers initiative, featuring new episodes, a challenging new online game, and outreach events and activities, explores real-world math connections in a context that encourages kids to take action and seek answers about the weather and its impact on the environment.

Tickets to meet the Cyberchase characters and to episode screenings are free and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 10:00 a.m. Admission to the California Science Center is free. The California Science Center is located in Exposition Park just west of the Harbor (110) Freeway at 700 Exposition Park Drive, Los Angeles. The California Science Center's mission is as follows: "We aspire to stimulate curiosity and inspire science learning in everyone by creating fun, memorable experiences, because we value science as an indispensable tool for understanding our world, accessibility and inclusiveness, and enriching people's lives."
