AAco cattle station bid rustled

A proposal by Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) to acquire two cattle stations is facing resistance from shareholders. Corporate governance firm RiskMetrics has also recommended that investors vote against the $A105m deal to acquire the Tipperary and Litchfield properties. The vendor is prominent lawyer Allan Myers, who acquired a 19.9 per cent stake in AACo from Futuris early in 2009.
