Check Point Honors Partner Excellence at Check Point Experience 2009

Check Point Software Technologies, a company focusing on securing the Internet, celebrated at the company's annual customer and partner conference, Check Point Experience 2009, with an awards ceremony honoring three of the company's key channel partners.

The Americas channel partners and customers attended a two day event, held at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas.

"We're very pleased to share our momentum and vision during CPX, and to recognize those who have made exceptional strides in securing enterprises with Check Point solutions," said Amnon Bar-Lev, vice president of world wide field operations at Check Point. "The companies awarded today exemplify strong commitment and outstanding performance and further solidify the success of our channel program."

Honorees included:

Distributor of the Year Award North America:

- Avnet, an industrial distributor of electronic parts, enterprise computing, storage products and embedded subsystems and Check Point Platinum channel partner.

"Avnet has shown exceptional product sales growth year over year with an outstanding track record of customer loyalty," said Bob O'Keefe, vice president of North America sales. "Consistently adding value to the reseller channel and the Check Point field, Avnet remains successful in providing solid technical expertise and 100 percent commitment to Check Point."

PureAdvantage Partner Award North America:

- Fishnet Security, a national leader in Information Security solutions, integration, professional and managed services and Check Point Platinum channel partner.

"Fishnet Security has demonstrated a strategic partnership that has resulted in significant value and successful growth of Check Point sales," said O'Keefe. "They have been quick to adopt support models and solutions, while creating robust marketing plans to attract new customers."

Endpoint Security Partner Award North America:

- Brite Computers, an IT security sales & marketing company specializing in endpoint security solutions and Check Point Bronze channel partner.

"Brite Computers embraced Endpoint Security out of the gate, proactively promoting Check Point Endpoint Total Security," said O'Keefe. "They have proven technical expertise and dedication to support Check Point Endpoint Security sales with extensive experience in large scaled deployments."
