US Airways launches non-stop service between Charlotte and Paris

US Airways has launched a new non-stop service between Charlotte, US and Paris, France.
According to the airline, the non-stop service from its hub in Charlotte to Paris's Charles De Gaulle Airport was resumed after an eight-year hiatus. The non-stop service will be operated using Boeing 767 aircraft.
Doug Parker, chairman and CEO of US Airways, said: "US Airways is delighted to bring service to another popular trans-Atlantic destination to the Charlotte community with our Paris flight.
"In addition to offering our customers non-stop service from Charlotte to three destinations in Europe now, we are looking forward to beginning our first-ever service to South America this fall with daily non-stop service between Charlotte and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil."
