Oshkosh Taps SAI Global for Its Global Code of Conduct and Compliance and Ethics Training
Apr 25, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Oshkosh Corp., a designer, manufacturer and marketer of a range of specialty access equipment, recently chose SAI Global as its sole partner in providing Code of Conduct and compliance and ethics training to their 14,000 global employees.
Shortly after their most recent acquisition which almost doubled their size, Oshkosh needed to address the inefficiencies and challenges posed by using several different online providers. Further, they needed to update and design a program that would be sensitive to its global needs in ten countries.
"Mergers and acquisitions present a special set of challenges especially when they involve global staff," said Andy Wyszkowski, Global Head of Compliance for SAI Global. "SAI Global is honored that Oshkosh entrusted us with helping them build a solution that met their particular needs and are delighted that they've achieved so much success with their program."
Oshkosh initially built a customized Code of Conduct course using a number of Code of Conduct segments from SAI Global's established and translated online Best Practices Code of Conduct library. This unified Code was communicated in four languages globally in less than one year. Following this success, Oshkosh expanded their training to include offline Code, additional courses and awareness-building Ethical Moments.
"The training had relevant video and story elements which our employees could relate to and apply to their daily jobs," said Robin Schroeder, Associate General Counsel at Oshkosh Corp. "The feedback has been phenomenal and completion rates were beyond our expectations."
