TNS names new head of telecommunication services division

Transaction Network Services, a provider of data communications services for transaction-oriented applications, has named Michael Robinson as head of its telecommunication services division.
Mr Robinson joins Transaction Network Services (TNS) from Leadergy Catalyst, an executive advisory firm he founded. Prior to founding Leadergy Catalyst, Mr Robinson actively built and restructured privately funded early stage companies, including as: CEO of Movida, CEO of Waxx, and President and COO of Motricity.
Prior to his early stage company development, he also served in the public company market as senior vice president of product management for Sprint Corporation. Prior to Sprint, he was COO of Pegaso in Mexico City. He began his career as vice president of international network for Sprint International. He has served on boards of directors and advisory boards for Movida Communications, Waxx, Crosspoint Bank, Mobidia, and Ericsson CDMA User Group.
