RR Donnelley & Sons Company, a US-based service provider of print and related services, has signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar print management agreement with Air Canada.
According to RR Donnelley, this agreement includes the management, production, warehousing, fulfillment and distribution of printed documents and related services as well as the provision of RR Donnelley's internet-enabled CustomPoint e-commerce system.
RR Donnelley worked closely with Air Canada's airports group and IT team to design, test and implement a new baggage tag that could be generated at self-serve kiosks and applied directly by the airline's customers, simplifying the check-in process.
Allen Hallis, president of RR Donnelley Canada, said: "We are very pleased to have earned the continuing trust of Air Canada and to be extending our long-term strategic relationship. Our extensive range of products, services and solutions enables customers like Air Canada to streamline their print procurement processes by fulfilling all of their print-related needs from a single source."
