Teradata Offers 'Accelerate for Gaming' Solution

Teradata Corp., a company solely focused on data warehousing and enterprise analytics, has introduced Teradata Accelerate for Gaming, a bundled package that includes Teradata's Purpose-Built Platform Family, Teradata Database software, application software and services designed to enable companies to deploy and realize business value from their data warehouse investment.

Teradata Accelerate for Gaming includes a management dashboard and business intelligence reports and is deployed using Teradata consulting and implementation services. Teradata Accelerate for Gaming is designed to run on the Teradata Purpose-Built Platform Family and the Teradata Database - a database with built-in functionality to provide for easy setup and management. The Teradata Accelerate for Gaming solution can be set up in a production environment in 90 to 120 days.

Teradata Accelerate for Gaming includes analysis and integrated reporting in the areas of marketing campaign performance, loyalty program trending, VIP hosted player monitoring, slot flash reporting, table games performance and casino hotel yield. An overall gaming dashboard provides a quick pulse on the status of the operation and allows drilldown to each type of analysis in order to make the key operational and marketing decisions to improve the business.

The following components are bundled as part of Teradata Accelerate packages:

- Teradata Database - a data warehousing database with built-in functionality to provide for easy setup and manageability along with Teradata tools and utilities to make it easy to rapidly load and query data

- One member of the Teradata Purpose-Built Platform Family - Teradata Active Enterprise Data Warehouse platform, Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance, or Teradata Data Mart Appliance

- A collection of gaming reports and management dashboards pre-built on MicroStrategy.

- Teradata Professional Services - consulting and support services to quickly get up and running

- Teradata training - supports users as they learn to get the most value out of their data warehouse investment.

Using the MicroStrategy business intelligence software, gaming companies can gain critical decision support, monitor performance, and improve operations management.
