BMC Software (NYSE:BMC) reported fiscal Q4 EPS of $0.64, ex-items, beating consensus analyst estimates of $0.62. Revenues rose 2.7% year-over-year to $479.3 million, falling short of consensus estimates of $487 million. Chairman and CEO Bob Beauchamp commented, "BMC's Business Service Management platform saw unprecedented customer adoption and validation during the fiscal year, a trend which continued to strengthen even as the macro-economic picture worsened. Today, it is clear that BMC has significantly extended our leadership position as the Business Service Management platform of choice for customers around the world." During fiscal 2010, the company expects non-GAAP earnings between $2.37 and $2.47 per share and cash flow from operations between $600 million and $650 million. Analysts' consensus projects 2010 EPS of $2.42. The company also said it sees total bookings and revenue growth for fiscal 2010 in the "low single digits."
