Rosetta Resources Inc. ("Rosetta")(Nasdaq:ROSE) announced that it has filed a universal shelf registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC").

Once the registration statement is declared effective by the SEC, the Company may, from time to time, issue up to an aggregate of $500 million of debt, equity or other types of securities through one or more methods of distribution.
