Renault Samsung starts mass producing revamped SM3 car

Renault Samsung Motors Co., the South Korean unit of French automaker Renault SA, said Monday it has started mass production of its revamped SM3 compact car.
Renault Samsung plans to begin selling the redesigned model, jointly developed by Renault and Nissan Motor Co., in South Korea from July or August, the company said in a statement.
Previously, Renault Samsung, the second-smallest automaker in South Korea, said it expects vehicle sales this year to come close to those of last year, when it sold about 100,000 units.
