GlassHouse Adds Support Service Staff
May 28, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
GlassHouse Technologies, an independent IT infrastructure consulting and services firm, announced the continued expansion of its service operations center in Cary, North Carolina.
The facility will now serve as the primary service operations center for GlassHouse Managed Services and Customer Support Services (CSS) clients worldwide. The expansion of the service operations center opens the door for additional jobs in the U.S. and the Research Triangle Park, NC area by bringing in GlassHouse Managed Services that was formerly housed overseas.
The addition of Managed Services staff to the Cary service operations center brings together two critical support service offerings under one roof. Since 2004, when GlassHouse launched its CSS offering, clients have been receiving call center, field service and global logistics solutions.
"GlassHouse has provided us with top-of-the-line services that have helped us gain efficiency in our storage and backup environments." said Todd Handel of The Swiss Colony, "The company's unbiased guidance through the use of strategies and best practices has helped us formulate, implement, and operationalize a storage and backup strategy to support our business objectives."
GlassHouse's Managed Services supports clients with multiple technologies including: primary storage and replication, disk backup, SAN management, tape virtualization and de-duplication, database, security and virtualized server technologies. Clients can choose from a range of offerings from Cloud-based reporting and monitoring services to provide increased visibility into day-to-day operations, or select to have GlassHouse monitor and manage their entire storage, backup, virtualization, database and security infrastructure.
