'Intel launches software marketplace for SMBs in UK'

Intel has launched the Intel Business Exchange Software Store for the UK SMBs. The Intel BX portal provides a single destination for small and medium businesses to learn about how to address business problems with software downloads and evaluate different packages. The portal contains IT resources from Intel and from other independent industry experts, as well as user-generated software reviews. The number of software applications available in the UK store at launch is 250, with 50 participating ISVs. Intel has worked with Avangate for the creation of the online store. As a special launch incentive, users will get an additional 10 percent off prices until 30 June. The launch of Intel BX in the UK, as well as Germany and France, follows the success of the US version of the site.
