Aligning with 'New Business Reality' Key for Jordan's

SAP's "Best-Run Now" Program Combines Software and Services to Bring Jordanian Customers Tools Needed to Manage Costs and Liquidity SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) executives, who are soon to visit Amman, believe that as changes in the global economy impact regional businesses, Jordanian companies are facing a "new reality", and strategic IT investments are set play an instrumental role in the future success of the country's commercial development.

SAP's role in assisting this success, say senior executives who will meet with customers at the 'Best-Run Now' Road Show in Amman, is to develop and support the country's IT sector by driving profitability, competitiveness, stakeholder value and growth across companies.

"Organizations should seek ways to proactively turn challenges of the current economy into opportunities, prepared to respond quickly to changing markets and be well positioned in the market as Best Run Businesses," says Sergio Maccotta, Managing Director, SAP Middle East & North Africa (MENA).

"Organizations in Jordan should focus IT investments on projects that address pressing market needs and deliver fast value in an altering global economy," continues Maccotta.

SAP's 'Best-Run Now' initiative offers the Jordanian market combined SAP software, services and implementation. The initiative aims to help customers address real-time business issues, including more efficient management of information on cash flow and liquidity, maximizing a global workforce through change and how to optimize procurement and supply chain processes. The road show provides a unique opportunity for C-level executives, IT decision makers, and business managers to learn about innovative SAP solutions that enable companies to outperform competition, achieve sustainable growth and obtain strategic business insight. The industry-specific sessions in trade, manufacturing, engineering, construction and operations, and real estate will provide the latest information about applications and state-of-the-art designed for specific industries.

SAP executives will be meeting guests by invitation only at an all day event on Wednesday, 10 June at the Le Royal Amman Hotel.(C) 2009 Al Bawaba (www.albawaba.com)
