Genband Partners with Wipro to Develop Global Reseller Program

Genband Inc., a developer of IP infrastructure solutions, announced that Wipro Infotech, the India and Middle East IT Business Unit of Wipro Limited, will support and distribute Genband IP gateway solutions as a reseller and system integrator partner.

The Genband Global Reseller Program distributes its IP infrastructure solutions to telecommunication service providers through its global sales team as well as via partnerships with telecom equipment manufacturers.

Genband said its resellers have access to all company products and solutions with an initial focus on the G2 Compact Gateway, the G6 Universal Gateway and the S-Series products (session border controller and security gateways).

The G2 Compact Gateway is a carrier class, multipurpose gateway purpose-built for highly reliable VoIP and provides connectivity at the border between the IP and TDM/circuit switched networks. The G6 Universal Gateway simultaneously supports multiple IP service architectures and is deployed in ILEC, PTT, RLEC, CLEC, and MSO networks.
