Brocade (Nasdaq: BRCD) today announced that it has achieved a major milestone in its data centre strategy to develop the highest-performance, most cost- effective, and most reliable end-to-end networking solutions available on the market today. Adding to its rich portfolio of networking solutions, Brocade has now completed testing and interoperability qualification of its server connectivity solutions, or host bus adapters (HBAs), by all leading storage manufacturers, including HP, EMC, IBM, Hitachi Data Systems, LSI Corporation and Xiotech.

Brocade HBAs deliver unique breakthrough performance and end-to-end networking capabilities for customers implementing server virtualization as part of their data centre strategy. Augmenting the industry-leading performance of the Brocade DCX Backbone family, Brocade HBAs utilise an industry-first integration of important adapter functions, such as virtual channels, into high-performance hardware. Brocade end-to-end storage networking solutions offer unmatched server-to-storage connectivity as well as Brocade Adaptive Networking services such as true Quality of Service (QoS) from server virtual machines to storage array ports and traffic management.

To reward its channel reseller and distribution partners, Brocade has also announced the availability of attractive incentives on its 4 and 8Gbps Fibre Channel HBA portfolio of products. The limited-time rebate amounts are available to Brocade Alliance Partner Network channel resellers and distributors, and vary by HBA model type.
